Domus ("the App") is a household management app developed by Levitica ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in using Google, Apple, or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by the authentication provider. We do not collect or store your password.

App Data

We store the data you create in the App — including lists, calendar events, recipes, documents, and photos — as well as collaboration data (e.g., shared households and associated user references) in order to provide the App's functionality.

Automatically Collected Information

We collect limited analytics on the public Domus website, such as page views, referrers, traffic sources, and campaign parameters, to understand how visitors find and use our website. We do not use these website analytics tools to inspect the private household content you create inside the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Some gift suggestions link to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Domus earns from qualifying purchases. Following a link shares no personal information with Amazon beyond what your browser sends when you open their site.

4. Google API Services and AI Features

Domus's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The App can import events from your Google Calendar into a Domus calendar you share with your household. Those events are stored only in our own database and shown only to the members of that household. Google user data — raw, aggregated, anonymized, or derived — is never transferred to any third-party artificial intelligence or machine learning service, and is never used to develop, improve, or train AI or ML models.

The App's AI features are provided by the OpenAI API and receive only the content you supply at that moment: the text you type, the photo you take, or the voice note you record. For gift ideas, it also sends the recipient's name, age, and interests, the gifts already planned for them, and items on wishlists they've shared with you. Data obtained from Google APIs is never included in those requests.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using encrypted secure storage. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon request, we will delete your data within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App or public website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
